"Lest We Offend"

The Editor of my local newspaper, Jeff David, wrote this at the bottom of his latest editorial. I thought it was hilarious. :)

"I understand it is now considered objectionable in some quarters to wish someone a "Merry Christmas," lest we offend non-Christians. Therefore, I wish all of you a Merry Christmas, and those of you who are offended can just have an unhappy one."
