Krytocracy

America now functioning as 'krytocracy':

"No longer functioning as a nation of, by and for the people, the U.S., in the aftermath of the Terri Schiavo case, is now a 'krytocracy,' ruled by judges, asserts geopolitical expert Jack Wheeler. "

Perhaps they'd like one of these?

Ha ha ha. Jack Wheeler, International Expert in Everything. He, like everyone else who complains about judges, offers no solution to whatever problem her sees.

Good point. Here's a good solution: Congress should use its powers given in Article III, Section II to limit the jurisdiction of the courts.

Here's another: there is precedent for the Executive to ignore bad federal court rulings or to narrowly define their enforcement.

I'm not Jack Wheeler and I don't play him on TV. :)

I'm thankfully surprised at your response, Jason! The Constitution does indeed allow for congress to remove the power of judicial review from acts of Congress when Congress itself deems appropriate to do so. I'm not sure if I agree that is a good idea, but I do respect it.

What is commonly known as "judicial review" today is the power of the judiciary to invalidate a law made by Congress - which is a different matter. Constitutional law must always trump legislative law. Otherwise there would be no reason to have our constitution.
