What a Pompous, Arrogant... !
Federal Court Denies Schindler Appeal: "'Any further action by our court or the district court would be improper,' Judge Stanley F. Birch Jr. wrote. 'While the members of her family and the members of Congress have acted in a way that is both fervent and sincere, the time has come for dispassionate discharge of duty.'
Birch went on to scold President Bush and Congress for their attempts to intervene in the judicial process, by saying: 'In resolving the Schiavo controversy, it is my judgment that, despite sincere and altruistic motivation, the legislative and executive branches of our government have acted in a manner demonstrably at odds with our Founding Fathers' blueprint for the governance of a free people - our Constitution.'"
In my opinion, this judge wouldn't know the Constitution from the Communist Manifesto! Shame on him for scolding Congress and the Governor of Florida for trying to balance the federal courts.
They simply haven't gone far enough yet! Impeach this turkey!

Rick Santorum for President!
At least ONE Senator is wanting to hold those black-robed miscreants to the fire!
Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., contends action should be taken against two judges who ignored congressional orders in the Terri Schaivo case. Referring to U.S. District Judge James Whittemore's decision last week to reject a request for emergency intervention, Santorum said, "For this judge in this district to ignore [a Congressional Order of Subpoena] is tantamount, I believe, to an offense that should be discussed in the Congress."

Justice Dept. Defends Satanism, Wicca
The U.S. Justice Department believes that Satanism, Wicca and polytheism are religious beliefs. The federal government argued in the Supreme Court Monday that states must enable prison inmates to practice and observe such "religious" beliefs – no matter how unconventional they may be.
So, anti-religion is now religion? Semanticide!

Your Body as a Broadband Network
Fascinating!: "Using RedTacton-enabled devices, music from an MP3 player in your pocket would pass through your clothing and shoot over your body to headphones in your ears. Instead of fiddling around with a cable to connect your digital camera to your computer, you could transfer pictures just by touching the PC while the camera is around your neck. And since data can pass from one body to another, you could also exchange electronic business cards by shaking hands, trade music files by dancing cheek to cheek, or swap phone numbers just by kissing."
Good move for IMAX!
A Gallup poll, released earlier this month, reveals that 81 percent of U.S. teenagers believe God was somehow involved in human origins, with only 18 percent holding a purely secular view of evolution.
"If it's not going to draw a crowd and it is going to create controversy," a museum director concludes, "from a marketing standpoint I cannot make a recommendation" to screen it.
WorldNetDaily: IMAX steers clear of Darwin's theory

Teacher-Parent Conferences
Here are some of the top ten comments from fathers at teacher-parent conferences. There were ten, but these were the funniest:
4. "So, our daughter has a short attention.... Hey, cool playground!"
3. "It's okay, teacher, we ain't never been good with numbers in our family. We be strongerest at English."
2. "Funny, you don't look like a four-eyed, fanged, drooling hippopotamus."

"Vestigial Organs"
I ran across this "scientific" article today. This should either make you laugh or get a bit angry. The idea that some of these "top ten" are vestigial is laughable.
Highlights include the whale's "hind legs" and the human's "tailbone" and "useless" appendix.
Useless Limbs (and Other Vestigial Organs)
These, of course, are all bunk.
Whales don't have hind legs. They have bones there that support their reproductive organs.
People don't have "tailbones." We have a coxxyx that has an absolute purpose in keeping everything where it's supposed to be.
The appendix is not "useless." It's part of the human immune system.
This propaganda is equal to or worse than anything the Nazis ever put out.
Woe to those who lead children astray....
